Interestingly, both of them started their commercial journey together.

Badshah and Yo Yo Honey Singh are not to be missed! When it comes to the most popular mainstream Indian rappers, both are on the top. Many people don't know that the two began their commercial journey together. However, their relationships deteriorated over time. Keep reading for the Bollywood News.
If you follow both rappers closely, you'd know that they began their journey together in a group called Mafia Mundeer. They were joined by renowned rappers Raftaar and Ikka.
The group disbanded in 2012 and each member began performing solo and rose to fame.
Yo Yo Honey Singh tried again to bring together and performed multiple hits with his new group that included Badshah and J-Star as well as Alfaaz and other musicians. Honey Singh was accused by DJ Waaley Babu of not giving credit for his decent success. They parted ways. This was the beginning of the war between them.
According to reports, songs like Brown Rang or Dope Shope were written by Badshah (and Raftaar). Both the artists were not given credit, and Yo Yo Honey Singh took all the glory.
According to reports, both men have resolved their differences and are now happy. Honey made a sharp dig at Badshah during the trailer launch of Punjabi film "Zorawar".
Honey Singh was asked by a reporter if Badshah had overtaken him as the most successful Indian rapper, with hits such as Kar Gayi Chull, DJ Waaley Babu and others. Honey replied, "Have ye driven a Rolls-Royce?" There's a big difference between a Nano (the world’s cheapest car) and a Rolls-Royce.
This is some desi beef between these two rappers! Stay tuned at Koimoi for more updates.
