Salman Khan shared his story about landing the role in his first film during an episode of Dus Ka Dum. He stated, "I will tell a story about Biwi Ho to Aisi. Bihari sahab, the filmmaker, was my friend about two or three years ago. I asked, 'Sir, aapne mereko uss picture pe sign kaise kiya (Why did you sign me for your film)? He said he had gone to many stars that rejected the film.

The Dabangg star quoted Bihari and said: "Abjo bhi next fool iss garage me me aayega main usko sign Karunga (Whichever stupid walks into this garage, I will take them for my next movie)". At the time, I thought I would make a fast entry into the garage.

Suresh Bhagat, who was the producer of Biwi Ho To Aisi, had complete faith in Salman Khan. Interview with leading daily. Producer said that he noticed something special about Radhe's personality after watching the star.
