They first met in 2005 when One Dance's singer was working as a DJ in a Toronto restaurant where she shot her music video, Pon de Replay.

Rihanna and Drake were first seen together in 2009, and then rumors about their relationship began to circulate on social media. The God's Plan singer stated that she was a "pawn" in a 2010 interview with The New York Times. I know exactly what she was doing. She was doing the exact same thing I have done to many women over my lifetime, which is to give them quality time and then disappear. It was horrible.

In 2010, Rihanna and Drake collaborated on "What's My Name", and their romance was rekindled with the song.

They parted ways in 2011 after their rekindled love didn't last. Elle was also contacted by the One Dance singer in 2011. He revealed that Rihanna had inspired him to sing 'Fireworks'. He said, "I won't ever put that on her." "It was painful because I slowly realized what it was. It was probably more than I realized. It was the first girl to have any fame and pay me any attention."

Later in the year, Drake and the couple collaborated again for Drake's song "Take Care", which features the Barbadian singer. Fans thought they were back together as a couple.

According to reports, there was a fight between Chris Brown, Rihanna's ex-boyfriend, and the God's Plan singer in 2012. According to reports, the two had a fight at a New York bar. In 2013, Drake criticized Brown in an interview.

The Canadian singer, Rihanna, sat down on Ellen DeGeneres' September show the same year and said that he had a moment with her and will always support her.

In 2014, Drake called Barbadian beauty his "Ultimate Fantasy" but called them friends in a conversation with Rolling Stone. The two lovers were again seen holding hands a month later.

The couple collaborated on a 2016 music video called "Work", which was a great success and is still one of their most memorable collaborations.

The Canadian singer, Rihanna, gushed over Rihanna at the VMAs and stated, "We love videos, which change their creative vision from year to year." We love Rihanna because she hasn't changed since the beginning. She is someone...she is someone I have been in love since I was 22 years of age, and she is one of my closest friends. She's someone I have looked up to all my adult life, even though she is older than me. She is a living legend in the industry.

Later on in 2017, Drake performed all of their duets, and Rihanna was wished a happy birthday loudly by the crowd.

The couple parted ways again after their romance ended.

Vogue interviewed Diamonds singer in 2018 and he revealed that Drake's VMA speech was his last nail. He said that "Waiting through that speech" was the most painful part. I don’t like being given too many compliments. Although we don't have friendship right now, we aren't enemies. It's what it is.

Later that year, Drake spoke on The Shop and admitted that Rihanna's marriage would have been like a fairy tale. He would love to have children with her one day.

Since then, the artists have not collaborated.

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky are currently together. They made their red carpet debut at Met Gala 2021. Drake, on the other hand is said to be dating Johanna Leia, a model. They have not yet confirmed their relationship.
