Raj Thackeray's MNS party also had issued a 48-hour deadline to Pakistani actors and artists, such as Fawad Khan, and Ali Zafar, to leave India or else have to be "pushed away". At the time, Salman Khan expressed his views regarding the issue and stated, "They are artists. What do you think... are they terrorists? They go to India with an Indian visa. Who is the one who gives their visa? The government of our (Indian) government provides them with the visa. The government issues them a working permit."

To Salman's comments, Abhijeet Bhattacharya tweeted, "Pakistani and Indian performers have something they share, they both love India's wealth, love, fame, and Salman Khan, an Indian Army apologist. Fawad Khan is a true patriot toward his home country of Pakistan while the Bollywood's Salman Khan is ashamed to be loyal towards India."

The playback singer also claimed Dabangg Khan is currently shooting films featuring Pakistan talent, and does not pay any attention to the problems in the Pakistani country. He wrote "Superstars do not watch news about the #UriAttack killings in Pakistan and shooting, or butchering Indians and killing Indians. They're also busy. shooting alongside Pakis".

Abhijeet Bhattacharya didn't end in his tracks. He also took aim at Salman Khan's notorious hit-and-run incident in 2002. He wrote "Because the law enforcement enforcement system, Salman Khan is roaming freely and is a supporter of terror."
