Vin Diesel Hints At A MCU Return: “Ask Kevin Feige About The Groot Story That He’s Excited About”

Vin Diesel is right now busy promoting Fast & Furious 9 that hits the screens in the US soon.

Is there anything more charming in the Marvel Cinematic Universe than Groot? Our sentient tree became one of the most recognisable characters in the MCU thanks to his innocence in love and courage when needed. Guardians of the Galaxy, directed by James Gunn, had a large ensemble cast. It was able to confine actors such as Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper to recording studios, with the former receiving only one line. But that doesn't mean Vim's voice couldn't gain him followers.

Though tightly manipulated and produced, it was a pleasure every time Vin Diesel talked through Groot, and fans didn't miss a beat. But, while we're all remembering our sentient tree, Diesel appears to be working on a new project. Vin offered a major hint about his comeback to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in his most recent interview, and we're excited to learn more today. Vin Diesel is now promoting Fast & Furious 9, which will be released in the United States soon. While he was doing so, he took a chance to excite his supporters even further by hinting at Groot. According to We Got This Covered, the actor stated that Kevin Feige is looking forward to a "Groot narrative." According to his comment, the novel is about an expedition of the sentient tree's home world Planet X and his return to it.

Vin Diesel said, “If you’re talking to Kevin Feige, you can ask him about the Groot story that he’s excited about; the return to Planet X.”

Now, according to Marvel's schedule, Groot will appear in three of their next projects. The first is the third instalment of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. The second will be a Holiday Special that will be shot concurrently. And then there's the animated I Am Groot, with the third being the sweetest of them all. Vin Diesel hasn't said if it's about one of these three projects or something else entirely.
