The actor's love for action is evident by his desire to shoot an action-adventure movie in space with the help from Elon Musk's Space X and NASA. But, recent reports suggest that an Russian actress as well as a director of a film took off for space to shoot the world's first space-based movie.
However, it isn't stopping Tom Cruise from not being great when it comes to stunts in the Mission Impossible series. While the production of the seventh installment is coming to an end, discussions about the next have started, and it is expected to premiere in 2023. According to reports, the actor may be learning to fly the World War 2 military plane called The Widowmaker.
This World War 2 military plane that Tom Cruise is reportedly learning to fly for Mission Impossible 8 is a 1943 Boeing Stearman Model 75, according to reports. A source has spoken with The Sun about the same and said, "It's obviously a highly skilled task but as usual he has no plans to cut any corners or bring in a stuntman."
"Filming is just wrapping up for Mission: Impossible 7, however Tom hasn't gotten the time of day. The idea of filming breathtaking scenes using an 80-year old plane is especially risky," the source added.
Although it is a risky venture, the actor is famous for himself in stunts, and considering that the the excitement of every stunt is increased in each MI film, it's likely that this information is correct.
In addition to Tom Cruise, Mission Impossible 7 also features The Crown fame, Vanessa Kirby, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Hayley Atwell and is directed by Christopher McQuarrie.
