"Despite deep love and respect for each other, we have realized our current paths have led us in opposing directions." Both of us have shared so much of our journey publicly. While we prefer to keep this part of our private lives private, we both wanted to share our truth together.
Kaley Cuoco, Karl Cook and their statement to People magazine on Friday stated that there is no animosity or anger between them. "We made this decision together with an incredible amount of respect and consideration for each other and ask that you do the exact same. We won't be sharing any further details or commenting."
Kaley Cuoco, known for her incredible roles in The Big Bang Theory and Flight Attendant, first began dating Karl in 2016, who is a professional horseman. After a year together they decided to get married in 2017.
The couple were married at a small wedding celebration in San Diego, California in June 2018.
