In an interview with EW, Tom Holland talked about Spider-Man: No Way Home as well as his future plans for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to Cherry, the entire team considered the film the end of the series. He said that if they get back in costume, it would be a new version.
"We all treated it as the end to a franchise. If we had the chance to revisit these characters, I believe you would see a completely different version. It wouldn't be the Homecoming trilogy. We would take it slow and work on something new and tone-changing the films. It's not clear if that will happen. Tom Holland stated that we treated it as if it were ending, and it felt that way.
