New Spider-Man film features Tom Holland for the last time, as it is his third standalone film in the role of the superhero. The MCU film was written by Jon Watts, who is working on a new movie alongside Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

Another rumour has been floating for some time is that Tom Holland's son Tobey Maguire along with Andrew Garfield will be a part of Spider-Man The Last Stand: The Last Way Home. A viral video has added fuel to the speculations of Garfield being part of the film. But Garfield himself has claimed that the clip is not real. He claimed, "I heard about it. It was something I actually saw. It's the result of a Photoshop," while appearing on Jimmy Fallon's show.
However, now VFX artist Niko as well as Sam of The Corridor Crew have proved that Andrew Garfield is in the new Spider-Man film and that the footage is authentic. The two artists get together and disprove the notion of the clip being fake. They also point out a number of aspects, including Garfield's appearance, his hair and the camera that was used in the depth of field and setup. This further proves that the clip is authentic.
Garfield was the character of Spider-Man for the very first appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man alongside Emma Stone and he reprised the character two years later for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Third and last film was scheduled to release in 2018, but it was canceled because of a conflict among Disney as well as Sony.
The fans will only be able to know if Andrew Garfield is in Spider-Man: No Way Home when it comes out on the 17th of December in 2021.
