Somy Ali wrote a message in support of Aryan Khan via Instagram and wrote "What child hasn't experimented with drugs? Give me a huge freaking break! And let this child go to his home. Prostitution and drugs, in the same way are not going and that's why they must be made illegal. This is the perfect example of a child being a child. Nobody is a saint. I first tried pot when I was 15, and later with Divya Bharti while filming of Andolan. I have no regrets!"

Somy Ali continued, writing, "The judicial system is making use of Aryan to show an argument, as the child suffers for no reason. What if the justice system be focused on the prosecution of murderers and rapists instead? !"

The actress added "The US has been fighting a war on drugs since 1971 and yet they are easily accessible to anyone who desires to use them."
