Much has been written about the events that took place on the night Sidharth Shukla died. Rumours have it that Sidharth Shukla's girlfriend, Shehnaaz Gill, was at his side. According to reports, he slept on her lap and didn't wake up the next morning.

Santok Singh, Shehnaaz’s father, revealed to the media that his daughter is suffering from depression. He said that Sidharth died in her arms and that she was unable to accept the reality. He kept asking her questions about how she would survive without him.

Sidharth Shukla was laid to rest on Friday. His funeral took place at Oshiwara crematorium ground. Many industry professionals, including Aly Goni and Arjun Bijlani, and DivyankaTripathi, were there to pay their last respects.
