Shreya Ghoshal Thanks Sanjay Leela Bhansali For Believing Her At The Age Of 16, Offering Devdas

Shreya Ghoshal is a Bollywood actress who has spent 19 years. The singer shared her journey in Hindi films, which began with "Devdas", on Instagram.

"19 years ago, on this day, I made my debut as a Hindi Films actor in #Devdas. Shreya posted a poster of Devdas on her Instagram account.

Shreya Ghoshal thanked Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the director of the film, for helping her to get into "Devdas".

Shreya Ghoshal wrote, "I am forever grateful to @SanjayLeelaBhansali sir that believed in that 16-year-old girl.. And to my parents for being there nights and days with me to make I into what I am today."

In the post, she tagged the Devdas team -- Aishwarya Rai Chanchan, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Jackie Shroff, director Sanjay Lela Bhansali, and music director Ismail Darbar.

Shreya was 16 years old when she was spotted at "Sa Re Ga Ma", a singing reality show, by Sanjay Leela Bhansali's mother. She won the contest. In 2002, she made her debut as a playback singer with Devdas.

Shreya Ghoshal was first known for her songs "Dola re dola", and "Bairi piya", which were performed by "Devdas". She went on to perform many other hits, including "Yeh ishq Hai" in Jism, "Barso re", in "Guru", and "Teriore" from "Singh Is Kinng".

She made her digital debut recently in "The Family Man" as the lead singer for "Kiske liye tu marega” and "Degajaan".
