Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar claims that his one thing that crossed his thoughts while working on the movie 'SardarUdham" was to ensure that he didn't go wrong with regards to what he thinks of that freedom fighter.

In a discussion about the fear of raising eyebrows in the story of "Sardar Udham Sircar said Sircar said to IANS: "Absolutely it can occur whenever we have created the film. The choice of liking or not is a personal and subjective matter. This didn't come easily."

"One thing that came (in our minds) is that we should not go wrong in terms of how we understand him (Udham Singh) as a freedom fighter or the legend of Sardar Udham."

The film, which stars Vicky Kaushal, focuses on the unstoppable goal to Sardar Udham Singh to avenge the deaths of the cherished brethren who were brutally killed during the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919.

Sircar said: "We should not go away from what he had to say. an understanding man and that integrity should be in us as well. We certainly tried."

Filmed and directed by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar as well as directed by Shoojit Sircar, the film also features Shaun Scott, Stephen Hogan, Banita Sandhu and Kirsty Averton in key roles, and Amol Parashar makes an appearance in an appearance that is special.
