Sidharth Malhotra spoke live with Lt Gen. and said that "the scenes shown in the film about the Kashmir valley are very real." I have lived there for half of my life, but never witnessed such authentic scenes being captured.

It's simple things, like the army officers not disclosing their sources, that have stood out in this film." He added, "Some scenes that show the human side of a soldier are well captured." Shershaah will be a model for future Bollywood movies that are well-researched and make army films.

Sidharth applauded Sidharth's performance and said to the actor, "I would love to compliment you for really getting underneath the skin of an Army officer." "I have seen many films based on the army over the years, but none has managed to do it as well."

Shershaah was first shown on Amazon Prime Video on 12 August.
