Shawn Mendes, a world-famous singer, had just answered some tough questions when he was called up to Vanity Fair's lie detector interview. The Stitches singer shared some of his most honest opinions on the subject, ranging from Harry to Justin Bieber.

He also shared his thoughts on Taylor Swift's boyfriend Joe Alwyn. Mendes made a shocking comment about Joe Alwyn, telling him that he has a "villain" look. That's quite brutal!
Shawn Mendes was asked in his lie detector exam if he still has contact with Taylor Swift, and if they have texted each other. Swift quickly reacted by saying that Taylor is his music mentor. Shawn, however, initially called Joe Alwyn a "sweet man" when Shawn was asked how he felt about him. He was then interrupted by his deceitful reply and he finally revealed the truth.
Shawn Mendes admitted that he was lying after he was caught with the lie detector. He has a bit of a villainish look to him, yes. Although he looks nice, he could easily become a villain at any moment.
Mendes explained later that Joe's blue eyes made it difficult for him to trust Alwyn. He added that "He's got Blue eyes and I struggle wit eyes that are that blue. As I've said, trusting brown eyes is easier for me."
Shawn was not only honest about Joe but also revealed that he and Justin Bieber have never spoken to each other since their 2018 Met Gala outing together with Hailey Bieber, his now-wife. Shawn Mendes said that Justin was very uncomfortable when he first met him.
