The movie, which stars Simu Liu as its titular character was one of the most anticipated Marvel movies in a long time. The movie raised the bar for representation by putting an Asian superhero front and center. However, it was certainly anticipated to be much more than that. It turns out that the plans for Simu were much bigger than we thought. He is now an Avenger.

Marvel released a trailer to announce Shang-Chi and The Legend Of The Ten Rings. The trailer gives us glimpses of the veteran Avengers including Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, and Chris Evans' Captain America. Later, we are taken to Simu Liu's hero. The announcement breaks the screen and says "Marvel's New Avenger." This is because Liu was roped into the movement for the greater good.

Simu Liu has also expressed his desire for Shang-Chi's participation in the Avengers. According to We Got This Covered he said that he knows what's next and what's on everyone else's minds.
