Scarlett, a Hollywood veteran who has made name for herself for the past 3 decades, plays the fan favourite Black Widow aka Natasha Romanoff. The actor, who is currently at war with Disney, has always supported her character. When Martin Scorsese decided to put out his polarising opinion of the studio films, Scarlett Johansson joining forces with Chris Evans decided to talk about the row. Here's everything you need to know as well as the opinions of the two.
Variety spoke with Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans and discussed the Martin Scorsese Vs Marvel row. Johansson reacted to the situation by saying, "seems kinda old-fashioned." It seemed so sad and disappointing to me that someone had to explain it. Evans was told by them that they believed these people were saying that there wasn't enough space for smaller movies at the actual theatre because of the blockbuster movies. It made me reflect on how content is consumed and how they've changed in the way they view it.
Chris Evans responded to Scarlett Johansson's question by saying, "I believe original content inspires creativity." The creative wheel is only kept moving when there's new material. "I believe there's enough room at the table to do all of it," Martin Scorsese should have responded. He didn't.
