Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, YRF's long-awaited and delayed film, will finally be released on March 19, 2021. The movie stars Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles. The film is directed by ace filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee, who is known for his dark and intense films.
The film's trailer has just been released, promising a dark and suspenseful crime thriller. Arjun plays Pinky Dahiya, a police officer on a mission to assassinate Sandeep Kaur (Parineeti Chopra), a corporate girl who seems to know something about the villain, Jaideep Ahlawat.
As she runs for her life, she seeks help from Pinky, and the two of them run towards Nepal together.
This film, like Dibakar's previous films, appears to have a surprising and intense story-line. Unlike other romantic films, the trailer portrays the hero and heroine fighting. Sandeep slaps Pinky on his face in one scene, while Pinky is attempting to kill her in another. There isn't much detail about the plot of the film, but one thing is certain: it will keep you on the edge of your seat and have plenty of exciting moments.
In terms of acting, the film appears to be missing, as neither Arjun nor Parineeti seem to be giving their all. The film features Anu Malik's music, which seems to fit in well with the film's unusual theme. The rest will be revealed once the songs are released.
Overall, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar tends to be a film made for a small audience, similar to Dibakar's previous films.
