Rishi Kapoor’s Wife Neetu Kapoor Once Revealed Getting A Box Full Of Stones As A Wedding Gift

Rishi Kapoor as well as Neetu Kapoor were regarded as one of the most powerful couple in Bollywood. After dating for five years they tied the knot on the 22nd of January in 1980. The veteran actress resigned from her acting career following her marriage and returned to the stage in 2009 to appear in Imtiaz's Love Aaj Kal, since she's appeared in films like Do Dooni Chaar, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Besharam.

In a discussion in a conversation with Rediff during 2003 when the actor confessed that she saw a lot of people who were gatecrashing her wedding ceremony. Neetu Kapoor revealed, "There were so many gatecrashers in the reception. They were all dressed nicely and carried gift boxes. The security guards let them in believing they'd been guests. Then, we discovered stones inside gifts boxes."

Additionally, Neetu Kapoor has revealed her story of how she as well as Rishi Kapoor fainted during the day of their wedding as there were many guests who were present. She added, "I fainted at my wedding as did my husband (Rishi KapoorRishi Kapoor]. My lehenga was too heavy. In addition, there were numerous people. This was too many to manage. Rishi Kapoor passed away in April 2020, following two years of fighting cancer. Neetu Kapoor is supported by her two children Riddhima as well as Ranbir Kapoor. She is set to make her big screen return with Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani's film Jug Jug Jeeyo.
