Rajkummar Rao Was Once Thrashed By 25 College Boys & It Had A Shah Rukh Khan Connection To It

In his first year of college i.e. class 11, Rao saw a pretty girl and he immediately fell in love with her.

Rajkummar Rao is a huge Shah Rukh Khan fan and has been vocal about it. Rao has spoken out on numerous occasions about how much he loves SRK. Rao also had a life-altering incident when he was thrashed 25 times by college boys. This too had an SRK connection.

Rao was a bad boy during his school days. He wanted to be an actor and he gave up all his bad habits to pursue that dream. His first year at college, i.e. Rao met a beautiful girl in class 11 and fell in love immediately.

During his appearance on EIC vs Bollywood, Rajkummar Rao had revealed that he was inspired by Shah Rukh Khan after watching his Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Rajkummar Rao shared the story, saying, "I moved into this new, really fancy, fancy, Blue Bells School in Gurgaon. I was huge, and I'm still an avid fan of Shah Rukh Khan." Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was on my radar, and then I noticed a girl playing basketball with the same hair as me. I thought it was Anjali. I was like "I found her mother, she found me (imitating Shah Rukh)" and then we began dating, but she had a boyfriend.

"It was a Jat boy, and then, of course they came to thrash my. There were 25 Jat boys at law college, and I was a saint boy by then. I said, "No more fighting. This is enough." I must be an actor. They were beating me up, and 25 boys were saying, "Take out the guns, take out your gun, shoot him," I was like that. My cute, Punjabi friends were like, "Don't hit him. Hit me if I want to." "Don't hit me! I want to be an actor!" That was all I was screaming.
