It was Ashok Kumar's daughter who revealed this anecdote that involved Raj Kapoor

Ashok Kumar has a lot of stories about him like his brother. But the most famous story that is remembered is his getting into the bad novels of Raj Kapoor at his wedding with Krishna Malhotra. This is something Ashok did not forget about.
The daughter of Ashok Kumar Bharti Jaffery previously spoken out about this issue and had told Quint that "Papa was there obviously. When he walked up to express his congratulations to on the wedding couple, their bride Krishnaji was able to lift her ghunghat and gasped"Oh, that's Ashok Kumar. I'm thrilled! In an interview from early 90s Ashok thought about how the wedding came about so abruptly. "It was a sudden event. After I started my career in the industry of films, wedding requests stopped coming in due to the fact that the boy was working in films. Then one day, I received an e-mail from my father asking me to come right away to Khandwa."
However, in the train, he was informed that they would be heading to Calcutta and he was completely confused. Then it was revealed the fact that he was planning to be married.
Ashok has also shared the secrets to keeping his wife content. "I often came home earlier. After I became a hero as a the producer Himanshu Rai told me that girls would want to follow me. I thought, 'Isn't that an excellent thing?' He responded"No, that's not an ideal thing. It keeps the house and the hearth burning. You get home at 6:30."We made a promise (haath the milao). Therefore, I'd be to bed by 6:30. my wife was extremely happy."
Ashok Kumar died in 2001, at the age of 90.
