Since Maharashtra going on an unlock mode and theatres were allowed to open in districts and cities that fall under Level 1.
After a year of anticipation, Salman Khan's much-anticipated film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai was eventually released on Eid last month. Due to the closure of theatres in most regions of India, the film was released on the pay-per-view platform ZeePlex.
However, due to the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, the makers were only able to release Salman's action film in three cinemas, all of which were in Tripura. Since Maharashtra went into unlock mode, theatres have been allowed to open in Level 1 districts and cities.
While cinemas debate whether or not to reopen, two cinemas took the initiative on Friday, June 11 and released Salman's Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai. Enjoy Drive-in Cinema in Malegaon and Khinvasara Cineplex (previously Apsara Cinema) in Aurangabad are said to be the two theatres.
Salman Khan's Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai has now been available on Bollywood Hungama's weekend collection. According to the report, “On Saturday, Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai collected Rs. 5,445 while on Sunday, it collected Rs. 6,229. These are approximate figures.” It's also worth noting that the picture earned Rs. 6,018 on Friday, bringing the total to Rs. 17,792.
During its first week of release, Salman Khan's Radhe brought in Rs. 63,248 from Tripura theatres. The film's total collection in Tripura and Maharashtra now stands at Rs. 81,040. Only 16 tickets were sold at Enjoy Drive-in theatre on Saturday, indicating that the film's reception was not as strong as it had been on Friday.
The occupancy at Khinvasara Cineplex, on the other hand, virtually increased, resulting in 41 tickets being sold. On Sunday, the Enjoy Drive-in had a considerably higher turnout, selling 39 tickets.
