Peaky Blinders’ Film Is Not Only On The Cards But Here’s When The Makers Are Starting Its Shoot

In an BFI London Film Festival panel about writing across genres, Knight revealed that season six is being shot and nearly edited, according to Variety.com.

It's scheduled for a bow in spring 2022. The British writer has said that the film would begin production in 2023.

"And then I am going to write the feature which will be set in and shot in Birmingham," Knight spoke at the panel. He also said: "And that will probably be the sort of the end of the road for 'Peaky Blinders' as we know it."

The writer stated that there might have been "shows related" to the Peaky Blinders' universe preferring not to call them spin-offs, something he's not a fan of.

If spin-offs are planned However, Knight is not required to be in charge of them, since Knight would prefer to "pass on the baton" the author said.

Knight has also announced that the television and film studio as well as academy in Birmingham Knight is adamant about along with the BFI as well as Birmingham City University, the BBC Academy, Birmingham City University and the Birmingham Film Academy will have an initiative called "Second Unit" where students will be able to work on film and TV productions.
