Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan will have a crossover with Salman Khan's Tiger franchise as well as, WAR.

According to media reports, Aditya Chopra (star of SRK-DeepikaPadukone) and Siddharth anand (producers of the SRK-DeepikaPadukone movie) came up with the idea that Ashutosh would reprise his role in the upcoming espionage movies as the RAW joint secretary. During an interaction with Midday, a trade source close to Pathan's making made this discovery. According to the publication, an insider said that Ashutosh Rana was RAW joint secretary Colonel Sunil Luthra in Hrithik Rosshan's War [2019]. Adi and Siddharth had the idea of having the actor play the same role as in Pathan.
The insider said that Ashutosh Rana had already filmed some scenes for Pathan. "The actor shot some crucial sequences with Shah Rukh Khan, Dimple Kapadia, and Yash Raj Studios, Andheri, a few day ago." According to reports, Dimple and Ashutosh will be the ones who plan the mission which will see John, the villain, and the protagonist get into a fight with John.
If this is true, then the crossover between YRF’s various espionage movies - Pathan and WAR - will be complete. Salman Khan appears in the Shah Rukh Khan film, and reports say that he will be shooting them before embarking on the international leg of Tiger 3 this month.
