Actress Lashana Lynch who portrays Double 00 agent Nomi, in the movie 'No Time to Die', believes that the film is a paradigm shift in the way female characters are represented in the series.

Lynch stated: "The fact that (Nomi) was ever conceived initially is simply a reflection on where we are today in the world today, and where we're going to take us, and the location of the franchise.
"And it is an injustice not to follow through and they're doing what's right, and I'm sure they'll continue do so in the near future."
The actress Lea Seydoux, who has returned to the series to reprise her role as Dr. Madeleine Swann, also thinks that the series's plot has seen a dramatic change in the years since Daniel Craig became Bond in 2006, as reported by femalefirst.co.uk.
Seydoux who was previously seen in the film 'Spectre' released in 2015 Seydoux, who starred in the 2015 release 'Spectre', Sky News: "I think that the James Bond films have always been very important to people around the globe."
"Bond has definitely changed since Daniel in that he's not as (misogynist). I believe that this time, women protagonists... are greater depth, and they are more powerful however, they are not just more powerful, as they are strong and skilled however, we also desire more engaging female characters. We would like to connect with the characters."
When asked of her return to Bond, she said: "I think it's a great opportunity to return. Bond series, the actress said: "It's the first time that the female Bond character comes to the franchise -- we become acquainted with her and get to know Madeleine in "No Time To Die," '... and I think it's a lot more interesting in this regard. it's a lot more exciting."
