Actress Neena Gopta shared a throwback gem via social media on Thursday, sharing a photo from 1984's classic Utsav.

Shankar Nag was an actor and screenwriter who directed and produced Kannada and Hindi films. He was the director and actor in Doordarshan's series "Malgudi Days".

Shashi Kapoor's "Utsav", a production of the play "Mrichakatika", was a film that was ahead of its time. Girish Karnad directed the erotic drama, which was based on the play "Mrichakatika". It starred Rekha Patel, Anuradha Paltel, Shekhar Uman, and Amjad Khan. Neena was Madanika, a courtesan servant.
