Berlin (Pedro Alonso) believes that a child is a "nuclear warhead" that will destroy all things. This was what he told Rio (Miguel Herran), in the first episodes of part 1. Many years later, the audience is introduced to Berlin's son Rafael, played by Patrick Criado of Riot Police. Rafael is 31 years old and has completed computer engineering studies at MIT in Massachusetts. He is very clear about one thing: he doesn’t want to be just like his father.

Patrick Criado As Rafael
Money Heist 5 is the second character introduced at the start of the story.
"My name's Tokio. It wasn't, when the story began. This was me...and this, the love and life of my dreams. He was lying in a pool with his eyes closed when I last saw him. Part 1 of Money Heist features Tokio (Ursula Corbero), who is trapped in a motorhome and fleeing from police, while also suffering an indescribable loss - her love. Rene (Miguel Angel Silvestre Sky Rojo, Sense8) is the man she met while mugging. He was the one she traveled with and who she enjoyed her life. She also loved Rene before Silene Oliveira realized that things can sometimes go horribly wrong in her world.
Miguel Angel As Rene
Sagasta, Commander of the Special Forces in the Spanish Army, is another new character. He has been on numerous international missions against the worst human species and is therefore as experienced as the men he killed. His men will follow him to the end, if he asks. He is a natural leader and is exactly like his men. He is a cold, analytical, and ruthless man who can go beyond the boundaries of any moral or ethical conventions when he dons his uniform.
Military Squad
Money Heist Part 5 Volume 1 premieres on Netflix on September 3.
