There are many timeline and iterations of Quinn in the DC Universe, but Robbie’s character timeline sync with that of Jared Leto’s Joker and Ben Affleck’s Batman.

Unsuspecting viewers may not know that Quinn has many timelines and iterations in DC Universe. Robbie's timeline is consistent with Jared Leto’s Joker timeline and Ben Affleck’s Batman timeline. Spoiler alert: Harley was killed in Batman's arms in this DC movie timeline. Are you shocked? Watch the reaction of the actress to this shocking news.

Margot Robbie, a DC Universe actress, spoke in depth about Harley Quinn's character and how she needed a break. The 31-year old Australian actress stated that she was feeling tired of Harley and needed a break. I don't know when she'll be back. "I'm as curious as everyone else."

Margot Robbie was shocked to learn that Harley Quinn died in Batman's arms in DC's movie timeline. [Laughs] I'm grateful that you told me!

"It's kinda like the comics," said the Australian actress. I think the film version of DC Universe is a lot like the comics. One comic has something happening, and you then pick up the next one. Maybe that character isn't with that person anymore, or maybe that character looks totally different. Every movie has its own kind of thing. That works for me in comic books, and it works for DC films.

Margot Robbie made comparisons to Marvel Comics. She said that it's not like Marvel, where everything is more clearly linked in a linear manner. It's almost as if there are many stories, worlds and films going on at once, much like the comics. It's true that I didn't know this, but it doesn’t change the ability of others to use this universe.

She said, "Whatever one director decides, I don't believe dictates what another director can do with the characters and the world. Which is great." This is a great aspect of DC World for directors. They can make it their own like James. He didn't need to follow the Suicide Squad version set up by David Ayer. He could take it apart and make it his own. I think that was much more appealing to him.

We would love to see Margot Robertbie continue playing Harley Quinn, wouldn’t you?
