"Buzz's reality was continuously something I was amped up for," said chief Angus MacLane. "In 'Toy Story,' there appeared to be this amazing history to him being a Space Ranger that is just addressed, and I needed 100% of the time to investigate that world further. So my 'Lighytear' pitch was, 'What was the film that Andy saw that made him need a Buzz Lightyear toy?' I needed to see that film. Also presently I'm sufficiently fortunate to get to make it."
Joining the recently reported Chris Evans, who loans his voice to Buzz, are Keke Palmer, Dale Soules and Taika Waititi collectively of aggressive enlisted people.
