Kate Winslet On Winning An Emmy For ‘Mare Of Easttown’

Hollywood star Kate Winslet won the Emmy Award for leading actress in a limited series for her role in Detective Mare Sheehan's 'Mare of Easttown. Keep reading for Latest Hollywood News.

Winslet stated that she wanted to recognize her fellow nominees during Sunday's acceptance speech. I stand by you and I salute your efforts. You are all my pride and joy.

Kate Winslet added, "Mare of Easttown" seems, I don’t know, it’s this cultural moment and it brought together people and gave them something else to talk about than a pandemic. I want to thank everybody for watching our show,"

Kate Winslet said: "Brad Ingelsby you created a middle-aged, imperfect, and flawed mother, and you made us feel validated, quite honestly."

This is Winslet’s first win after more than ten years. Last time she won, it was for "Mildred Pierce" in 2011.

Kate Winslet was also nominated for the Emmy Awards as an executive producer in Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series Category.
