Jessie J Apologises To Nicki Minaj After Saying The Rapper Had ‘Asked’ To Be On Her Bang Bang Track

Nicki called out Jessie after the singer made some claims about the song.

Jessie J and Nicki Minaj are big pop-music stars who have had hits after hits. The duo has also collaborated, along with Ariana Grande in the 2014 song 'Bang Bang'. Seven years have passed since the song was released. Jessie and Nicki got into a dispute over the origin story for Bang Bang.

Nicki called Jessie out after Jessie made certain claims about the song. The singer of 'Price Tag' claimed that Jessie had asked to be a part of the song. Nicki went on Twitter to clarify the situation.

Jessie J sent a sincere apology to Nicki Minaj. In 2015, the singer posted an Instagram video. Jessie shared an Instagram video from 2015 with the caption: "I respect your publicly being yourself @nickiminaj* So here I'm being myself." It also said, "This is a clip of me back in 2015. Taking the piss out myself which is basically one hour of my set."

After apologizing for the offense, the 'Domino’ singer went on to apologize to the 'Anaconda rap artist. She stated, "I'm sorry, I got the story all wrong all these years. I was told that you heard the song, and wanted to be on the track by someone clearly gassing us up at the label." She suggested that the two musicians meet up to celebrate their seven-year anniversary.

Although things seem to be settling between Jessie J & Nicki Minaj's, the singer also spoke out about her current medical condition that has limited her ability to sing. On her Instagram, she shared an emotional clip in which she sang her new song "I Want Love". This clip was originally meant for a speech therapist. She stated that vocal nodules and acid reflux had made her unable to perform.
