The actor Jason Momoa has shared that the actor was shocked when he got a phone call from director Denis Villeneuve for the upcoming film "Dune". The Hollywood actor says Villeneuve is among his top five favorite directors, dead or alive, and says he's the definition of a "God" to him.

Jason Momoa said: "I was stunned after Denis Villeneuve called me because Denis Villeneuve is without doubt one of my top five favorite directors alive or dead! I am a huge fan of him and enjoy all his films and he's the definition of God for me."

"Dune" tells the tale about Paul Atreides, a brilliant and talented young man who was born into a heavenly destiny that is beyond his comprehension and who must journey across the most treacherous place in the universe to secure that his future is secure for both his family as well as his people.

A staged version of the Frank Herbert classic bestseller with the same title"Dune" will be released on Indian screens on October 22nd with the film being released in English in both Hindi from Warner Bros. Pictures.

When discussing this film Momoa stated: "He's obsessed with this book since he was a teenager and it was among his most cherished movies . He has a clear and precise vision and is able to pinpoint exactly what he's looking for. I worked hard to please him, I truly wanted to be part of the world."

"Dune" also features Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar nominee Josh Brolin, Oscar Isaac, Zendaya, Oscar nominee Charlotte Rampling as well as Oscar Winner Javier Bardem, among many other actors alongside Momoa.
