Jamie Dornan said: "I battled with, suppose, the energy. There's an excessive amount of vanity and it simply feels douche-y as f***."
"An excess of rubbish. At whatever point I went out on the town or met a young lady in a bar or whatever, I'd say I was a scene nursery worker or worked for Google – everything except confess to having my photo taken professionally."
Notwithstanding it being a major piece of the work, the "Belfast" star, who began demonstrating in 2003 preceding moving into acting in 2006, still isn't happy having his photo taken on the grounds that it feels so "unnatural".
Addressing the December/January issue of Britain's GQ magazine, he said: "I didn't adore (demonstrating)."
"I actually don't care for having my photo taken. I think that it is odd. I think that it is something unnatural to occur. It's dreadful to be told constantly to move your head about like it is on a turn."
Dornan turns 40 in May one year from now however he isn't "apprehensive" of the achievement since it has given him point of view.
He said: "It gives you viewpoint, isn't that right? I'm not scared of that any longer. I'm not somebody with a five-year plan… but rather if my twenties were tied in with starting this profession, demonstrating, the beginning of acting, and my thirties were tied in with securing myself, then, at that point, I need my forties to be tied in with building something that will endure."
