Daniel Craig is playing James Bond for the final time in the new movie, and he previously argued that his replacement should not be a woman.


actor Lea Seydoux, who reprised the part as the character of Dr Madeleine Swann for the new Bond film 'No Time To Die' has rejected the idea of the Bond franchise being led by a female actor.

Seydoux who was previously seen in the film of 2015 "Spectre," stated: "James Bond is James Bond. I don't believe James Bond should be played by women."



Lea Seydoux acknowledges that young girls require "strong" women as role models.


But she believes that female spy characters should run an alternative film franchise, rather than James Bond. James Bond series, reports femalefirst.co.uk.



She said to Sky News: "It's important for girls in the teen years to get a positive example of strong women. Maybe they could make an female spy film however, it would be an entirely different film."



Daniel Craig is playing James Bond for the last time in the new film in which he has previously said that his replacement shouldn't be the same gender as his replacement.



He believes that people who are of color should have similar roles with the same acclaim.
