Is Zack Snyder Directing Marvel’s Ghost Rider Reboot? Justice League Maker Answers

Zack Snyder, if there is one individual who has managed to rule the headlines from 2021 to now, it is him. First, there was the Snyder Cut of Justice League, and then there were the numerous rumors that followed. In the midst of all the talk about the SnyderVerse's revival, to The Arthur film, one of the rumors is that Zack is in talks to relaunch the Ghost Rider for Marvel.

For the uninitiated, Ghost Rider was born in Sony's hands in 2007, and Nicolas Cage represented him. The picture received mixed reviews at its initial release, yet it nevertheless managed to gross more than $200 million worldwide. In 2011, Cage returned to the role in Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, which received even poorer reviews and effectively put an end to the character's future. Now that he's in Marvel's hands, it appears like they want to bring him back following a series of successful cameos.

It was reported that they have their sights set on Justice League director Zack Snyder, who is the talk of the town, for this role. While these rumors have yet to be confirmed, Zack has taken it upon himself to do so. He has dismissed the rumors and stated that it will not take place. He made it obvious in his succinct response that, though it sounds intriguing, it is not true.

According to Screenrant, Zack Snyder stated, “Oh, really? I don’t know that. It’s kind of fun, I gotta be honest. It’s cool, you’re like, ‘Oh yeah, no, Ghost Rider is a done deal!’ No. But no, it’s not.”

Meanwhile, Zack Snyder recently chastised Warner Bros. and Joss Whedon for sabotaging his version of the Justice League in 2017. According to the same portal, he stated, “The lesson I’ve learned over the last five years is you really have to just do what you love. You really have to make the movie you love. It takes a lot out of you when you work for three years on a thing and then see it destroyed. That’s big, and that’s hard for anybody, as you can imagine.”
