The actor spoke out about his movies and said that it was important for him and the other actors to keep in touch with their fans, rather than focusing on the medium through which they will be connected. The actor, who has appeared in more than 40 movies, is back in the TV industry. We'll be seeing him in his latest Marathi drama, 'Mazhi Tuzhi Reshimgaath'.

ETimes reached out for more information about Shreyas' decision to return to TV after many successful films and when fans can expect to see Golmaal 5.

Shreyas Talpade responded by saying that he was happy to be back on television as the subject is interesting and the role is great. In the last few years, the entire entertainment industry has changed. The big or small screen is irrelevant now. Everything is on your phone's screen. The good news is that it doesn't matter how big or small your screen is. People will love it if they are good at it. If you aren't, they will make you look bad. These channels are also trying new things with the emergence and growth of OTT platforms. That was what I liked, and the response was overwhelming so we kept working.

The Housefull 2 actor answered a question about whether he is worried about returning to TV and his involvement in a Bollywood movie. It's a common practice in Hollywood. They don't think it strange that a movie actor appears on television. We only tried to intellectualize the world in India at first. These days, there are no such guidelines. People have their own YouTube channels and are equally popular. Actors should not have to be restricted by the medium. He continues to mention that there were many people who opposed Amitabh Bachan's appearance on television during "Kaun Banega Crorepati".

He said, "The amount popularity TV gave him again at that point was phenomenal." Then, we saw some of the most prominent actors appearing on TV to do fiction and nonfiction shows. Why should we leave TV if it gives us that kind of popularity, love, adulation and everything an actor needs?

When talking about his first movie, 'Iqbal,' he said that he was told by the crew to not appear in any other TV series, TV show or Shreyas shares. "Before Iqbal, I was doing TV. I recall checking with the team to see if they would allow me to take up the offers. They also stated that if I did TV shows, why would people go to the theatres? Things have changed today; people have made progress. It is amazing to see the response I've received for this show.

He also said that the audience is what keeps actors alive. It is vital to keep in touch.

He also spoke about his other project, saying: "I made a short film that was produced by 8pm Premium Black Music CDs. Mahesh Mahesh Manjrekar also directed a film. I will soon be directing a movie, there are other projects and this show. This year is packed. To do this much work, I must take care of myself. Delphic Maharashtra is also a part of my life. It is like Olympic to culture and sport to art and culture. Although I had no idea of it before, it was something I discovered while working on my own OTT platform. I'm looking forward to it. This will allow us to see talent from all over the country and around the globe on the platform.

Golmaal, India's most popular comic franchise, is eagerly awaiting its fifth installment. When actor playing the role as 'Laxman' was asked about the fifth movie, he replied that "our captain Rohit Shetty would answer this question." In fact, I feel that we all talk about 'Golmaal' every time we meet. We feel that this film would help us to forget our stress and to let our minds drift away from the chaos around us. Rohit has to make the final decision on whether the team wants to work on 'Golmaal 5". Rohit will make the final call depending on the situation and when theatres are open. We would all love to be able to work together for "Golmaal 5" as soon as we can.
