An ex Gorkha official, Major Manik M Jolly, took to Twitter on Saturday to bring up a significant error in the banner. He said that a conventional Khukri appears to be unique than portrayed in the banner. Happy stated, "Dear @akshaykumar ji, as an ex Gorkha official, my gratitude to you for making this film. Notwithstanding, subtleties matter. Benevolently get the Khukri right. The sharp edge is on the opposite side. It's anything but a blade. Khukri strikes from internal side of sharp edge. Ref pic of Khukri att. Much obliged."
Akshay Kumar immediately reacted, "Dear Maj Jolly, thank you kindly for calling attention to this. We'll take absolute attention to detail while recording. I'm exceptionally glad and regarded to make Gorkha. Any ideas to get it nearest to reality would be generally valued." Following collapsed hands.
This isn't the initial occasion when the ex-Gorkha brought up an error in a film banner. Beforehand, Major Manik M Jolly called attention to a mix-up in the banner of Sam Bahaur, the biopic of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw featuring Vicky Kaushal. He expressed, "Somebody who's been dressed wrongly as clear from Colored pictures. He's a Gurkha Officer. He wore Black position identifications , not brilliant. This is the most un-that is normal from film producers. Get the uniform right of such amazing officers. @vickykaushal09 – Another pleased Gurkha."
