The show had seen around 30 million viewers by the time it reached season 7. Even though season 8 ended in 2019, many fans still love the characters and the storyline. Everyone was focused on Game of Thrones's leading character, but many didn't know what high-paid celebrities would be earning. According to The Hollywood Reporter, five of the most prominent characters in American fantasy drama Game of Thrones are Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Emilia Clarke(Daenerys Targaryen), Peter Dinklage (“Tyrion Lannister”), Lena Headey [Cersei Lannister] and Nikolaj Coster–Waldau ("Jaime Lannister”) earning a $1.2 million each episode.
For six episodes, this means that GoT's stars could earn a handsome paycheque of $7.2 million. Variety reported in 2017 that the top characters made between $500,000 and $600,000. Each episode of Season 7 was averaging about $500,000 to $600,000.
There were also rumors that Game of Thrones' stars could make more than $1.2million per episode. According to The Express, the five main actors could earn up to $2.5million per episode. This includes the bonus from syndication and reruns.
This is a huge amount of money!
