Eternals Reviews Out! Critics Blast Saying It’s One Of Marvel’s ‘Dullest Efforts’ & A ‘Vast Misfire’

Directed by Chloé Zhao, the Marvel fans have really high expectations from the Eternals.

The Marvel cast of Eternals is working to promote their film, and MCU fans are eager for the chance to return to theaters and experience this once-in-a-lifetime sort of experience. The first reviews for this Angelia Jolie and Salma Hayek starrer have been released and, surprise us the reviews are mixed this time. Read below for the initial reactions of reviewers! Eternals is actually the 26th film released by MCU and also stars Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Harish Patel, Kit Harington, besides Angelina and Salma.

Director is Chloe Zhao, the Marvel fans are expecting a lot for the Eternals. Initial evaluations and scores are available for the Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek as the lead actors. IMDb has 7.4 and Rotten Tomatoes is showing 71% to date.

Steve Rose of The Guardian wrote "There's way too much happening and it's all heading toward the next "race against time" to stop the truly bad thing from occurring" finale. It's not exactly dull There's always something fresh to see - but neither it's particularly thrilling as it doesn't have the fun and comical wit of Marvel's greatest films."

"The Playlist's" Rodrigo Perez wrote, "A huge misfire, and one of Marvel's most boring efforts of the past few many years."

Scott Mendelson in his Forbes review wrote "More than any other MCU film, Eternals feels like 'just the kind of movie that is superhero-centric' as well as it's a 'we're running out of characters' film. Credit-cookie sequences will both require an explanation as the first is a sign of despair I've not seen from the biggest Hollywood franchise. When you consider the many years of 'DC Films against Marvel online hand-wringing until Hollywood was ablaze in pursuit of Marvel's success, it's absurd that one of Marvel's biggest failures was the attempt to imitate their biggest competitor."

Eternals will be released on 5 November 2021, in India and will compete against Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi at the box office.
