The new album, 'Dimension: Dilemma,' is set to be uploaded on streaming music sites. It has been much anticipated by Kpop fans because it's the first complete album from one the most prominent rookie groups, Yonhap News Agency reports.
The team was pleased to announce another milestone with the pre-orders for more than 920,000 copies, which it achieved in just three weeks.
The TV audition program 'I-Land (2020), co-produced entertainment industry giants CJ ENM, and Hybe formed the seven-piece group. It aired on Mnet's music cable TV channel. Their first EP, 'Border: One' was released in November 2020.
The group quickly rose to stardom and won four rookie trophies at the local music awards last season.
Their second EP, titled "Border: Carnival", was released in April. It reached No. 18 on the main Billboard 200 albums chart. It also topped Japan’s Oricon weekly album charts for two weeks straight.
The new album, titled "Dimension", is the first installment of the series. Jake, a member of the band, said about the album: "If Border' was a story about someone who is a trainee singer and a rookie singer, this series of 'Dimensions' is about what he feels after one-year."
