Emily Ratajkowski On Why She Didn’t Come Out Earlier Against Robin Thicke Allegedly Groping

Emily Ratajkowski said that her perspective has changed as she's grow

The model Emily Ratajkowski, who has been accused by of singer Robin Thicke of groping her during the shoot of his "Blurred Lines" music video, has revealed the reason she has waited so long to speak out about the incident. Keep reading for Hollywood News.

She said to People magazine: "I was an unknown model and if I had spoken out or complained, I would not be where I am today; I would not be famous."

Emily Ratajkowski, who has admitted to the claim in her book , 'My Body' claimed that her perception of herself has changed over time as she's developed in her personal development over the years.

She said: "I wrote a book about the development of my politics , and it contains many different experiences that I have had throughout my career as well as my personal life, and how the way in which I considered and felt about these experiences has evolved.

"I hope people are able to read the essay and understand the nuance behind these kinds of situations."

Ratajkowski became famous thanks to the 2013 clip, in which she appeared naked along with Pharrell Williams, and Thicke who were completely covered.

The book contains an extract from the author's memoir the actress and model claimed that the rocker was drunk when they allegedly shook her shoulders on the set, as reported by femalefirst.co.uk.

Her words read "Suddenly suddenly, from out of the blue I felt the coolness and alienity of a stranger's hands embracing my naked br*asts behind. I sprinted away instinctively while looking to Robin Thicke.

"He smiled with a smile and then stumbled backwards with his eyes hidden in his sunglasses. My eyes shifted towards the dark beyond the stage. (The Director) Diane Martel's voice rang hollow as she called out to me, "Are ya doing alright? '"

She added: "I pushed my chin up and shook my head, trying to avoid eye contact. I felt the heat of embarrassment rushing into my entire body. I didn't react , at least not in the way I ought to have."

Diane said she witnessed the incident, and then immediately finished the shooting.

She told an interviewer: "I remember the moment when he grabbed her b*sts. One hand in each. He was standing in front of her, each in a straight line. I yelled in my fierce Brooklyn voice"What do you think is that you're doing? That's it! It's over! '"

Diane said Robin Thicke apologised, and she claimed: "I don't think he would have done this had he been sober."
