On Thursday, Ed Sheeran, an English singer-songwriter, announced the release date for his new album "=" ('Equals) via his Instagram account.

The 14-song album, which chart-breaking artist began writing and recording in June 2017, will release on October 29th. It's the fourth part of Sheeran's 'symbol album' series, following his seminal '/' ('Divide').
Ed Sheeran posted an emotional message on his Instagram page, "It's been long, long process. I have experienced love, loss and new life during this time, and it feels like a coming of age record. I have never been prouder of a body work and more excited/nervous to share it with you all.
After the end of his Divide Tour, Ed Sheeran decided to take a break from music.
In his Instagram post, he wrote: "The next song is called Visiting Hours," which he finished in memory of Michael, who died this year. You get this song when you pre-order the album. It's also available on all platforms starting now. There will be more music, but I'm excited for you to hear it.
'Equals' will be released via Atlantic Records and will include Sheeran's single 'Bad Habits' as well his latest, 'Visiting Hours'.
The album contains 14 songs: Tides'; Shivers’; First Times’;?Bad Habits’;?Overpass Graffiti’, ‘The Joker And The Queen’, and?Leave Your Life’.
