Scarlett Johansson sued Disney, if you don't know. The studio was accused of violating her contract, which promised her a theatrical release of Black Widow. The movie was simultaneously released on Disney Plus, the studio's streaming service. Johansson claimed that they had suffered huge losses. If the latest grapevine is any indication, the studio has made the decision not to partner with Scarlett again, who was their Natasha Romanoff.
Scarlett Johansson joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Natasha Romanoff, in Iron Man 2. She appeared in many projects over the years and was a popular choice for fans who kept asking for a standalone movie. After a massive demand, the actor finally got Black Widow but only to start a war between the studio and Johansson.
As per We Got This Covered Disney has decided not to work with Scarlett Johansson again. The studio strongly opposed the lawsuit, calling it'meritless and 'PR Stunt'. They plan to end all ties with Black Widow and stop any future plans to do so. They won't continue with Tower Of Terror, the role that started the actor as the main character.
Although Scarlett Johansson and the studio have not confirmed the same, it is clear that this possibility exists based on how Disney has responded to Johansson’s lawsuit.
