British actor Daniel Radcliffe rose to fame as Harry Potter's wizard and says that he felt first starstruck by Gary Oldman after he began to understand and be more aware of his Hollywood status.

Radcliffe has worked alongside many of the most famous movie stars, including Maggie Smith and Alan Rickman. However, he revealed that he was first struck by Oldman when he was a child, according to femalefirst.co.uk.
He said that Maggie and Alan were his first starstruck people. Gary Oldman was the first person I can recall being starstruck by. Because I was that age and was more aware of his work and who he was. It was also when I started to take an interest in acting.
"So yeah, it was hard to like someone when you were nine years old. Later on, you'll be able to admire them and become starstruck."
Daniel Radcliffe shared earlier that people are often surprised that he wasn't "messed up by childhood fame".
"People have low expectations about me, which I was aware of early on." This is great, because you can always surpass them.
"Once, I was having dinner at the Director of Photography for a film. I shared a strange story about something that happened to me in lighthearted and amused ways.
Daniel Radcliffe said, "When I got to my end, the DP looked directly at me and asked, 'How can you not be more messed-up?'"
He credits his parents for keeping him grounded.
