In March of 2020 Craig, Daniel Craig, the No Time to Die actor hosted his second SNL after appearing the first time in 2012.

When hosting it last year, The Weeknd came as the guest performer who was introduced by actor Craig. Craig's introduction to the performer by Craig on SNL quickly became viral and eventually became an internet meme. But no matter how popular it was, the meme did not reach the actor, who admitted that he was aware of the meme recently.



According to The New York Times, Daniel Craig revealed that the existence of the meme came as completely unexpected to Craig. Craig talked about the time when that he was host of SNL. Before discussing the show, he pointed out that the show aired just prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 that led to the shutdown in the SNL production. "We were out of our city on March 8 March,"" stated the performer. "The evening before I performed on 'SNL' it was quite amazing."


Daniel Craig added, "It's incredible. I'm not sure what it is, but I want to say thank you. It's wonderful," after getting to learn about this viral meme. The actor said, "I suppose I'd have to be on social media to understand what it was regarding." He has admitted to not using social media. The forty-fifth episode of Saturday Night Live was halted in March of 2020. Its Knives Out actor's episode was the last live production that was filmed in person until it returned seven months later.



In all that, Daniel Craig has been in the spotlight in his last James Bond film, No Time to Die. The film premiered on the 22nd of July and was a last hurrah to the man who been playing the role of Bond to the very first time since Casino Royale. Since then, there's been discussions taking place about who could play the role of the next Bond with a wide range of actors like Henry Cavill, Tom Hardy and Christian Bale as the possibilities.
