Master filmmaker Christopher Nolan finally announces his new film one year within the release of his spy thriller, Tenet.


Christopher Nolan, master filmmaker, announces his next film one year after the release of Tenet, his spy thriller. Nolan's latest film will focus on J. Robert Oppenheimer, "the father of Atomic Bomb" and his involvement with the development of the atom bomb during World War II. The director hopes to cast Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy.

Inception filmmakers expressed their disappointment in the past at Warner Bros when they decided to release their films on the same day via digital platforms as theatres.


All Christopher Nolan films were made outside Warner Bros. Deadline reports that the director of his latest World War II film is seeking out other studios to produce it. Warner attempted to stream Tenet, but Nolan insisted that the film be released in cinemas.

Christopher Nolan called HBO Max the worst streaming service after WB revealed their entire 2021 film release schedule. There are many questions about Nolan's feud with Warner Studios, including whether the studios will continue producing Nolan's high-budget films in the future.


Although nothing is known about the project, fans are eager to learn more about it. The new film will mark Cillian Murphy's fourth collaboration with Nolan after Inception, The Dark Knight, and Dunkirk 2017.


It is interesting to note that Dunkirk was Christopher Nolan’s first film, for which he received his first Academy Award nomination as Best Director. According to sources, Nolan is currently in discussions with Universal and Sony along with Warners as well as Paramount. Conversations are taking place with top executives from the major studios.


Scott Stuber, Netflix's film chief, had announced that he would convince Christopher Nolan to make his next movie for the streaming service. However, Nolan has stated that he won't ever make a movie for Netflix.
