Jamie Spears announced his resignation from Britney Spears conservatorship per We Got This Covered. Jamie Spears appealed that "There are no actual grounds to suspend or remove Mr. Spears was appointed Conservator of the Estate pursuant to Probate Code section 265. It is not clear whether Ms. Spears would prefer a change of conservator.
"Nevertheless, although Mr. Spears is unremittingly the target of unjustified criticisms, he doesn't believe that a public fight with his daughter about his continued service as her conservator would serve her best interests." Even though he has to contest the unjustified Petition to his removal, Mr. Spears plans to work with both the Court and his new attorney to ensure a smooth transition to a new conservator.
