Brahmastra, Ayan Mukerji's long-awaited film, has been in the works for several years. Fans have been waiting to see Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor on screen together since the announcement. The film has been delayed as a result of the pandemic, and fans' anticipation has grown with each passing month. However, there is some good news for all of the fans: the film is about to begin filming its final schedule.
According to reports, Ayan and his crew will travel to Budapest to film the final schedule. The Ranbir and Alia starrer began filming in 2018 but has faced numerous setbacks since then. From the main characters contracting COVID to Maharashtra's curfew laws, this film has seen a lot.
According to Bollywood Hungama, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will film Brahmastra's final long block in Budapest. The actors and crew will fly to Hungary once they have completed their vaccinations and the travel situation has improved and the restrictions have been lifted. The shoot for Brahmastra is set to begin after August.
If this happens, we may expect Ayan Mukerji to announce Brahmastra's release date by the end of the year, at the very least. We understand that fans can't wait to see real-life lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt romance on screen.
The interesting aspect is that Alia and Ranbir fell in love while filming this film, and the two have now apparently reached a point in their relationship where they are ready to marry. We wouldn't be surprised if their wedding date and the release date of the film collided...haha!
The film Brahmastra is the first instalment of Ayan Mukerji's ambitious trilogy. Aside from Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy.
