Page Six reports that Angelina and Brad had, in their initial agreement, agreed to each other's permission if they ever desired to sell their shares to the estate. Jolie was accused by Pitt's company of trying to sell her shares while denying Pitt the right-of-first refusal.

She described it as a difficult decision and stated that she is not the type of person who would make decisions like those she had to make.
