Bhumi Pednekar Feels Special Working With Akshay Kumar In Raksha Bandhan

The actress is confident that 'Raksha Bandhan' will appeal to audiences of all age groups.

Bhumi Pednekar, actress, has been paired with Akshay Kumar in their second film, 'Raksha Bandhan,' which is their second together after 'Toilet : Ek Prem Katha. She is working with Aanand L. Rai who funded her movie Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.

She labelled the two personalities the most important people in her life, and called the movie "reunion".

"Raksha bandhan is my reunion of the most important people in my life!" Anand Rai sir is a guru for me, who trusted my abilities as an actor when I had just started out and I will forever be grateful to him for the opportunity he gave me to shine through in 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan'," Bhumi Pednekar said.

She said, "So, I'm thrilled that I had the opportunity to work again with him."

She spoke highly of Akshay Kumar and said that he was responsible for her first blockbuster.

"Akshay sir gave me a movie that was my first blockbuster. He believed in me in 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' and our pairing won hearts. She said that he has given me a sense of confidence that has helped me excel in this field.

According to the 32-year old actress, she was delighted to learn that she would be starring with him in "Raksha Bandhan" again.

The actress is positive that "Raksha Bandhan" will appeal to all ages.

She said, "It's an script that will touch everybody's hearts and that I hope that my pairing with Akshay sir (the writer) will be loved again."
